MESSAGE FROM OUR RABBI

We are all shocked and saddened by the events which occurred in Pittsburgh this past Shabbat. My brother is a Rabbi in the community, and one of his congregants lost both of his parents in the horrific attack. The tragedy is a reminder that despite the many advances that society has made, anti-semitism is still a very real and serious concern. The best way to combat anti-semitism, however, is not to run away from it, but to stand up against it and remain vigilant! We as Jews have a responsibility to our brothers and sisters that perished in this tragedy and throughout history to make sure that their deaths were not in vain. I would like to dedicate next Saturday morning’s service to those who perished, and to use it as a time to pray for those who are still injured. Let’s try to have a strong showing. I encourage all of you to attend next Shabbos morning’s service!

Rabbi Novitsky.
